1962

The story of the Marines who landed in Lebanon to secure American interests, and the naval personnel that got them there. Narrated by Jean Shepherd Jean Shepherd narrates this film where President Kennedy and Vice President Johnson tour the Second Fleet and the Second Marine Division. They visit the carrier USS Enterprise and nuclear powered submarine Thomas A Edison and then, accompanied by the Shah of Iran, observe a massive amphibious landing at Camp Lejeune.
